About Us

About Us

I was born and raised in the Southeast. I stumbled into Surveying when I was 19 and never got out. After 14 years and 2 State Licenses, I moved to construction where I was able to utilize my surveying skills as well as learn additional ones. I started building 3D surface models for quantities and demonstration purposes before there was GPS Machine Control. The software wasn’t what is today, but it provided me with a solid foundation for what was to come. My 45 years in the industry provided me with the  opportunity to learn different software such as Paydirt and Agtec for estimating, AutoCad and Microstation for lift drawings and presentations, Terramodel, Trimble Business Center and Civil 3D for Machine Control Models. We recently added Magnet Office and Carlson Construction to our list. Over the years I’ve built models for use in all types of equipment and for all machine control guidance systems. Our models have ranged from Simple Roadways to Major Highway Projects. Large scale Residential sites to Underground box culverts, Airports, 18 miles of Everglades Rim canals, and some specialty models for estimating and conflict resolution.       Please review our Projects page for more details.

How Did We Get Here?

Ever wonder what “RETIREMENT” looks like? I did and this is it! After a lot of conversations with friends and aquaintances, it became clear that there are a lot of small companies purchasing Machine Control systems or grade checking equipment. However, there does not appear to be a huge supply of people building 3D models. So, here we are! I have always loved the concept of Machinery capable of being guided by one of my models. Supporting the small business group just seems right to me. Combined with my associates, we have 45 years of experience in Construction, 3D Modeling and machine control with extensive experience with Survey equipment, Concrete Pavers, Asphalt Pavers and Earth Work Equipment. I maintain a good relationship with all 3 major machine control manufacturers sales and service people to stay up the changing and progressing technology.  Feel free to drop us a line, even if only to ask questions.
